
Our Board

Carolynn is originally from Moose Jaw and has advocated for children and youth since she was 16. After moving to Saskatoon for school, she made the city her home. She has worked as a Community School Coordinator for 17 years and joined the Board in 2016. She believes deeply in Care & Share’s mission. Outside work, she enjoys camping, hiking with her dog, trying new recipes, and travelling.

Darcie has been actively involved with Care and Share since 2000, when she was first introduced to the organization through its corporate mentorship program. Previous roles include Board Chair and Treasurer. As a Saskatchewan native, she offers valuable insight and strong community connections within Saskatoon. Her local knowledge support Care & Share’s mission to strengthen the community and deliver programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in need.

Maureen worked as a community school coordinator at King George School and Bedford Road Collegiate for over 30 years. She was the President of the Sask Community Schools Assoc., the Vice-President of the Cdn Assoc. of Community Education and served on the board of KidSport for many years. Maureen joined Care & Share in its early days as a liaison between the schools and the charity providing the insight into the schools’ most urgent needs. Maureen is now enjoying retirement.

Shack first connected with Care & Share through ROCK 102, and after seeing the program’s impact, he wanted to get more involved. He’s now the morning host on 650 CKOM. Care & Share has long been Rock 102’s charity partner, creating a strong relationship. Mark is married to Mona, they have a daughter, Emily, and he loves cooking, the color blue, and any food you can dip.

Sandi became Executive Director of Care & Share in 2002 after a 23‑year career with RBC. She oversees organizing, coordinating, and bookkeeping, working closely with the schools to deliver student programs while building strong partnerships with local businesses and organizations. She volunteers on event committees supporting community causes. Sandi loves spending time with her family and friends and hopes to do more travelling in the near future.

Eduardo moved to Canada in 2014 and is a co-owner of Magnus Construction Services Inc. As part of the Saskatoon Progress Club, he has the opportunity to learn and interact with local charity organizations dedicated to supporting youth in need. He enjoys connection with nature and is happy to be part of this beautiful city that he calls home. He believes that by working together, we can make our city a better place for everyone.

Anne was raised in BC, lived in Alberta, and has called Saskatoon home for many years. She loves both the mountains and the Prairies. Anne has worked with the Saskatoon Public School Board for over 20 years in a community school setting, enjoying connections with families, staff, and community members. She loves time with her children and grandchildren, and spends her time off at Madge Lake golfing, wake surfing, and relaxing.

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Julia is a lawyer dedicated to serving Indigenous communities across Saskatchewan. Guided by her belief in children as our future leaders, Julia is proud to be part of a team that strives to ensure every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential. In her free time, Julia loves to travel, try new recipes, spend time with family and friends and learn to golf at Candle Lake.

Thomas has known about Care & Share for most of his life. He feels honored to follow in his father’s footsteps, as Sid is a founding member. Thomas is an Investment and Insurance Rep helping families and business owners with their financial and benefits needs. He and his wife Jasmine recently became the proud parents of a baby boy. You can find Thomas spending his free time with family and friends, golfing, attempting DIY projects around the house, and spoiling their dog.

Kaesir has owned and operated Nufloors Saskatoon since 2005. For more than two decades, he has been an active supporter of local charities through the Saskatoon Progress Club, contributing to organizations such as Care & Share, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hope’s Home, and several others.

Errol brings more than 45 years of construction experience, including 28 years with North Ridge. As VP of Construction, he provides steady leadership in planning, infrastructure, and overall project flow. Errol was first introduced to Care & Share through North Ridge’s long-time partnership with a Saskatoon school. Because of his dedication to helping children, combined with his deep community connections, Errol was invited to join the board.
